G.A.S.A.F.R Dolls, which stands for Girls Against STD's and Faulty Relationships, is a website to help women realize their worth and educate them on Sexually Transmitted Diseases as well. G.A.S.A.F.R Dolls, the website as well as the brand, was created by China Phillips. "People are always using social networks to navigate their way through life, so why not offer a website to them?" remarks China.
As said in the name, GASAFR Dolls is not only used to council girls on faulty relationship, but to educate young women against STD's, China notes that a lot of young women have been infected by an STD, and have been in an relationship with someone who's had one as well. "That's why it's important to always ask your partners about their medical history." she comments.
One of the most touching stories China has had sent to her was about a young women who was in abusive relationship, and couldn't understand how someone who had always called her beautiful could lie and cheat on her. After reading some articles on the GASAFR Dolls site, she made the decision to get out of the relationship and enroll into college full-time. That young women is now on the Dean's list and plans to graduate early.
Beyond the website, GASAFR Dolls also has promotional merchandise and will soon offer an online store with jewelry, journals, notebooks, etc. China has also written books that she hopes will be on the NY Best Seller list one day. In a few years China plans to open up a home for young women which will provide counseling sessions, job training and educational services.
GASAFR Dolls on representing BOLD femininity: "GASAFR Dolls encourages girls to be bold and take control of there circumstances and be themselves, I want them to speak out about the things they have been through in order to help other young women."
"I want any and everyone that contacts me and our organization to know that we care and our willing to help all young women no matter what the circumstances." China promises. "And I want them to know that they can do all things through Christ. No matter what."
The Reddlipstick Blog applauds China for her efforts in helping young girls realize their worth, educate them, and giving them an outlet to inspire other girls to do the same.
