I believe everyone's voice and opinion does matter to an extent, you have to think about wht your future will bring and hold. A lot of people don't think it matters wether they vote or not, but I will be the first to say I was the same way. My first time voting was when President Obama ran for election, and before that I did not think my vote mattered especially after the way Bush won. Once I sat in the line for 6hrs, and was able to vote for MY president. I can say it felt good, and when he won it felt like a major relief. To know that my voice does matter, and I had a part in making him the president. You can't expect change unless your willing to voice your thoughts, no out in the action to make the change.

Our vote is our voice and there truly is power in numbers. Every vote matters,If you choose not to vote others will and you may not like the outcome. Believe it or not, at one point in all our lives we all benefit from the positive outcomes of our presidents (financial aid, social security, medical assistance, ect). For those of you who don't agree... We all have a future to live for, being yourself or your children. Let all make a difference and get out there on Nov.6th and vote! We are the future make your voice be heard!

I believe that everybody should vote simply because it is your decision and your voice that needs to be heard. Whoever you vote for is who you want to represent our country in a positive way, if you don't vote, you will never get a say in that. It's also your money that comes out of your pocket as well, we want somebody who will spend money on the right things, and the stuff we believe is most important! :)

As an African American I believe its important to vote because my ancestors and many others fought so hard for us to be able to vote so they could see things change for us in the future. They didn't want African Americans to have a voice. Now that we have a right many don't want to exercise our right. Many people think its not important to vote because they believe nothing will change. For this particular election it is important to vote because for one I am a college students and if the grants and federal funding gets taking away I don't know how I would pay to continue my education. Loans don't do nothing but put you in more debt. And also the raise in taxes for the middle class, and not bringing our troops home, and etc. The importance of voting is that you can see the improvements in our country and that you can see the changes in your family. Let your voice be heard !!!!

It's important to vote b/c we all stand for one country. Of course we are divided by race, religion, etc but the one thing most we all have in common is our right to vote. You live here. You might can't personally improve the country but you can contribute by exercising your right. Unless you don't care about your rights as a citizen. =)

I think voting is a major thing. What alot of people don't realize [especially if first time voting] is that you aren't only voting for the President of the United States, but for other important roles underneath him as well. It is almost more important that you vote the other roles, for it is those people you vote for that eventually lead up to get into the White House. This is my second time getting to vote and I am so grateful for being able to give my vote whether others do or not. What made this year's vote a great experience for me was the fact that my mom was finally able to vote for her first time after being in the states for 46yrs. For those of us who have the ability to vote should definitely not take advantage of that and be thankful, for there are people who want to help and vote, but cannot. Do the right thing, help others and yourself, Get out and VOTE! Every voice truly does make a difference. Just look at the different Bills Obama has signed already.
